Analyst1’s Product team is growing, and we’re searching for an insatiably curious, experienced Lead Product Designer to help us create a market-leading product, built by a tight-knit team. You'll be a core member of the design team and will work closely with product management, engineering, and customer success to solve relevant and challenging problems in the cybersecurity industry—to deliver meaningful impact to our customers through empowering experiences.
About the roleAs Lead Product Designer at Analyst1, you will be driving the advancement and creation of experiences that enable teams to quickly uncover security insights, and take confident action to mitigate risk. You’ll be working in a collaborative environment where you will be encouraged to share your ideas, ask questions, and learn from your peers. You will have a passion for the design craft, a willingness to try new things, and a strong desire to always learn and grow.
What you’ll do- Work end-to-end on the product—from interactive node graphs and data visualization to scalable data management and the seamless collection of data from diverse third-party APIs.
- Develop a deep understanding of Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) and its impact on security teams and their organizations.
- Translate complex technical concepts into approachable experiences.
- Align design strategies and solutions to business goals and needs.
- Lead complex design projects and ensure quality throughout the entire product lifecycle.
- Create user flows, information architecture documents, wireframes and sketches, interactive Figma prototypes, and high-definition visual designs using our design system.
- Share in the ownership of our design system and contribute to its growth and efficacy.
- Actively collect feedback, data, and insights, and iteratively incorporate them into your design decisions.
- Employ design thinking and questioning techniques to develop strategies and execution plans where pathways are not always obvious.
- Advocate for the importance of the user experience throughout the organization and build an enthusiasm for our craft with everyone you come into contact with.
- Collaborate with product management, customer success, sales, and engineering to create effective cross-functional relationships and effective outcomes for our users.
- Interact with product management and marketing to have visibility into our competitors.
- Refine and further define our principles for effective security-oriented experiences.
- Advance accessibility and inclusion in the product.
- You have 8+ years of experience designing enterprise-scale digital products. Experience working within security products is a significant bonus
- You have experience on a product team, and have worked alongside product managers and engineers
- You have a strong portfolio that backs up your ability to think through—and design for—complex experiences
- You’re proficient with Figma, both for design and experience prototyping
- You’re one with UX principles and heuristics, and you utilize them to articulate design decisions
- You’re driven to break apart complexity and comprehend the pieces
- You have impressive communication skills, and understand that the most impactful ideas are only as good as our ability to express them
- You are engaged with ongoing conversations and efforts to drive the creation of effective, meaningful, and approachable experiences between AI technologies and humans
The US base salary for this full-time position starts at $135,000.
Analyst1 salary is determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, location and relevant education or training.
