You will simplify the complex world of commodities, energy, and maritime data for our clients across the globe, surfacing actionable insights with the right context, at the right moment. You will be responsible for Product Design across the Kpler Terminal’s commodities product suite, covering cargo analytics, commodity inventories, refineries, gas, power, and more. You will work with our Product Design team based across France, Greece, and Germany to create compelling narratives across products, push the boundaries of visualisation, and transform complex data into elegant, human-centred experiences.
Your mission is to:
- Lead Product Design for Kpler’s Commodities Business Unit, owning the consistency, and evolution of user experiences across complex, data-rich products
- Co-define and drive Kpler’s Product Design vision and standards, establishing shared principles and ensuring a coherent, high-quality cross-platforms experience
- Be hands-on, delivering features and experiences end‑to‑end from discovery to prototype and dev‑ready specs, on both web and mobile
- Build strong working relationships with Product and Engineering to shape problem definition, contribute to solution exploration, and ensure a strong user-centred perspective throughout the product lifecycle
- Deeply understand user behaviours, needs, and pain points in the domain, diving into the world of commodity data to translate complex workflows into clear, effective design solutions
You could be a fit if you have/are:
- 8+ years experience delivering digital product design (web, SaaS, or enterprise tools)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present a compelling design narrative, and organise and structure information clearly and concisely
- A solid portfolio showing your design process
- A keen interest in learning about commodities, finance, trading, and other data-rich domains (existing familiarity is a bonus)
- The drive to master the tools you use. You already have expertise in Figma (or similar), including prototyping
- A strong appetite to experiment with AI tools, and iterate on new ways of working in today’s fast-moving tech environment
- Curiosity to keep learning, generosity in sharing your knowledge, and genuine pleasure in collaboration
- Previous management or team lead experience is a bonus
