The Opportunity

As a Lead Operator, you’ll play a key role in driving operational excellence within a dynamic semiconductor production environment. This position offers the chance to take on technical and leadership responsibilities, supporting both process optimization and team development. You’ll work hands-on with cutting-edge systems, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and help shape the future of production quality and efficiency. How you’ll make an impact

  • Work in a continuous shift system with flexibility to support various production areas

  • Process production lots according to current work instructions while maintaining high standards of quality and safety

  • Conduct daily process controls (SPC), monitor and optimize parameters to ensure consistent product quality

  • Provide first-level technical support for issues related to production lots and equipment

  • Act as deputy for the supervisor during absences and support team members in executing production processes

  • Facilitate training, certification, and re-certification of team members, and conduct workshops to strengthen team skills

  • Operate relevant systems such as SiView, SAP ME/BO, and Fabtime, and lead line briefings to communicate priorities and updates

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, cross-functional projects, and support the implementation of new technologies and professional development

Your background

  • Bachelor or Master degree in electrical engineering, physics, materials science, or a comparable technical discipline

  • Several years of experience in semiconductor production or similar technical environment

  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to work well in a team and high level of commitment

  • Willingness to work in shifts and flexibility

  • Very good German language skills and English skills are an advantage
