This role is within Chamberlain Group’s Marketing department and Brand and Communications function. 

A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Influence creative direction (ii) Embrace a collaborative approach to design conceptualization (ii) Develop and execute creative materials to support global communication campaigns related to business, cultural and engagement initiatives, and (iii) Maintain and continuously refine our creative assets to support employer and product brands, communications and channel strategy. 

In collaboration with the Creative Director, myQ Studios team, and broader Marketing department, the Lead, Motion Design will develop and deliver motion graphic and video assets for a wide range of platforms and channels, both internal and external. 

This position will be a hybrid position assigned to Chamberlain Group’s global headquarters in Oak Brook, Illinois.

Job Responsibilities

  • Independently conceive, plan, produce and deliver motion graphic videos and assets for use internally and externally across all channels including but not limited to website, direct email, intranet, and social media platforms.

  • Ability to use non-linear editing programs such as DaVinci Resolve to edit and deliver video projects as needed.

  • Help Chamberlain Group tell its growth and transformation story through visual storytelling that incorporates and spans all product brands and narratives.

  • Create and manage best practices regarding workflow, archival, collaboration and delivery for all assets within myQ Studios.

  • Develop creative campaigns that support employee recruitment and retention, revenue acceleration, and customer acquisition.

  • Support executive communications through storytelling and video assets.

  • Provide training to internal staff and contractors on equipment, software, and best practices, fostering a culture of learning and improvement. Ensure all team members are equipped with the knowledge needed to operate and execute projects successfully.

  • Uphold and continuously improve the visual depiction of the employer brand for use externally, internally and on display in our Chamberlain Group facilities.

  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.

  • Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential.

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

 

Minimum Qualifications (requirements necessary to perform listed duties and responsibilities)

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 7+ years of related work experience

  • Strong motion graphics and design capability

  • Photography and videography experience

  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects

  • Knowledge of Davinci Resolve (Fusion)

  • Microsoft Office Suite experience

  • Strong project management capability

  • High level of attention to detail, with projects that have high visibility with senior management

The pay range for this position is $102,600.00 - $165,375.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
