We expect our engineering leads to be deeply technical and hands on keyboard.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, has a strong track record of deploying ML pipelines in production, and thrives in dynamic, customer-focused environments. You’ll help build systems that work across a wide range of infrastructure - from bespoke enterprise stacks to modern open solutions - so flexibility and solid engineering instincts are key.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, robust, and efficient ML systems, from data ingestion to model serving and monitoring.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive monitoring frameworks to track models and ML systems' performance, identify potential issues and bottlenecks, and ensure optimal performance and health in production environments.
  • Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Infrastructure teams, and clients to translate complex business problems into robust and impactful ML solutions.
  • Provide technical mentorship and direction to other engineers on the team, fostering their professional growth and promoting a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
  • Maintain clear and thorough documentation to support knowledge sharing and future development.
  • Design scalable model serving solutions for open-source and foundation models.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience  in deploying, managing, and monitoring machine learning models in production environments at scale
  • Advanced Python proficiency, including expertise in ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
  • Proven ownership of high-impact machine learning systems or products and in-depth understanding of the ML lifecycle.
  • Strong technical leadership experience, especially in guiding engineering teams and leading technical projects.
  • Deep experience with feature engineering and/or feature store implementations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and influence technical decisions.
Bonus Points

(Not required, but nice to have)

  • Experience leading remote teams
  • Previous experience contributing to open source ML, MLOps, or data projects and communities

What We Offer

  • Medical, Dental & Vision – 100% paid for employees, 75% for dependents
  • 401(k) Match – Up to 5% with full vesting after 2 years
  • Unlimited PTO – With a required minimum of 15 days off annually
