About the Team

About the Role
Clari is looking for a highly skilled, experienced, and proactive Lead IT Engineer to join our Global IT Operations team. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and technical expert who thrives on driving initiatives to completion, aligning other team members with IT direction from leadership, and solving complex technical challenges across a growing, distributed organization. As a lead-level IC, you’ll drive the execution of high-impact IT programs, lead large-scale automation projects, and serve as a trusted advisor and technical escalation point for the team.

You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to design scalable, secure, and resilient IT solutions that align with Clari’s cloud-first strategy and fast-paced global growth. This role requires a mix of technical depth, collaborative teamwork, and a commitment for operational excellence.

This is a hybrid position, which will require the ability to be onsite in our Kraków, Poland office as needed. Candidates must be based in Poland.

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary IT support and escalation for the Poland region, managing employee onboarding, offboarding, and IT processes
  • Oversee employee lifecycle tasks (like IT orientations), office infrastructure (network, A/V, etc.), and equipment procurement and provisioning
  • Provide IT support for office/company events, global helpdesk requests, and employees across multiple OS platforms (macOS, Windows) within SLAs
  • Serve as the lead escalation point for global support issues and drive resolution of complex problems across the IT stack (hardware, SaaS, networking, identity, MDM)
  • Admin, manage, and act as a subject matter expert for our SaaS and identity stack (Okta, Google Workspace, Atlassian Jira/Confluence, Zoom, Slack)
  • Develop advanced integrations and custom API scripts, automations, and workflows using tools such as Okta Workflows, Workato, Torii, and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash)
  • Collaborate and drive the architecture, design, and implementation of complex IT systems, automation workflows, and infrastructure solutions at scale
  • Track and maintain corporate assets using the asset management tool and manage endpoint security (detections, investigations, remediation)
  • Partner with Security to assist with audits and compliance, and implement endpoint security best practices, vulnerability management, and incident response
  • Mentor junior engineers and help mature our global IT support model by creating best practices, playbooks, and robust documentation
  • Design and manage scalable MDM solutions (Jamf, JumpCloud) with focus on policy enforcement, patch management, and security compliance
  • Analyze IT trends and proactively identify areas for optimization and improvement
  • Perform routine audits and participate in vendor evaluations, license management, and cost optimization strategies

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of progressive experience in IT operations, systems engineering, or related roles in cloud-first environments
  • Proven track record of driving technical IT initiatives with measurable business outcomes
  • Strong programming/scripting skills (Python, Bash) and experience building scalable automation workflows and custom integrations
  • Deep knowledge and mastery of enterprise SaaS systems (Google workspace, GCP, Azure), ITSM (Atlassian Jira), identity/access management (Okta, SAML/SCIM), and automation platforms (Okta Workflows, Workato, BetterCloud)
  • Expertise in endpoint security, device compliance, and patch management, with strong MDM experience (Jamf, JumpCloud, Kandji, or similar) and EDRs (Crowdstrike)
  • Extensive experience managing and troubleshooting macOS and Windows environments
  • Possess excellent documentation creation skills and habits
  • In-office networking (LAN) and A/V experience
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience mentoring and guiding junior team members
  • This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including the ability to overlap with U.S. time zones
  • Ability to lift and/or move 50 pounds with or without accommodation
