If you want to be part of a team of bold builders, sharp thinkers, and technical trailblazers who shape the future of commerce, this is the place for you.
We're looking for a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, automate, and operate infrastructure across our on-prem data centers and GCP environments. This role suits an engineer who came up through hands-on operations (racking hardware, running networks, bare metal OS installs, keeping systems online at 2am) and has since built deep expertise in automation, infrastructure as code, and public cloud. You'll set technical direction for infrastructure, mentor engineers, and own the systems that scale our global operations.
As a Commerce brand, Feedonomics is a leading product feed management platform that helps brands, retailers, and agencies list and optimize products across top ecommerce channels worldwide. Feedonomics manages everything from onboarding to ongoing feed optimization, enabling our clients to scale faster with less effort. Feedonomics has earned a strong reputation for a full-service model and powerful technology—all rooted in a commitment to excellence.
What You'll Do
Design and operate large scale, multi data center infrastructure supporting international operations, spanning both on-prem hardware, GCP, and AWS.
Lead automation of infrastructure deployment and configuration management, driving migration from legacy tooling to modern IaC (Terraform, Puppet, Ansible).
Design and maintain traffic management, load balancing, and DNS systems at scale.
Build and operate monitoring and observability systems across on-prem and cloud environments.
Develop tooling for managing distributed, auditable systems administration.
Write and maintain process, policy, and procedural documentation for the infrastructure organization.
Who You Are
10+ years in infrastructure or systems engineering, including direct operational ownership of production systems.
Experience with all aspects of the remote management of physical hardware infrastructure colocated at hosting facilities.
Deep Linux systems administration experience (Red Hat, Debian, or similar) at scale.
Hands on experience with core networking: Cisco hardware, DNS, load balancing, traffic management.
Experience with enterprise storage and backup systems.
Proven track record automating infrastructure with tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or similar
Proficiency in Python or a similar language for infrastructure tooling and automation.
Production experience with GCP (Compute Engine, networking, storage, IAM).
Demonstrated ability to lead infrastructure projects and mentor other engineers.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience migrating on-prem workloads to public cloud.
Experience with distributed monitoring/logging stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, etc).
Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, GKE).
Experience mentoring and leading junior engineers
Work Where You Thrive
For candidates based in the Austin or Atlanta metro area, the position follows a hybrid work model with three days per week in the office, balancing focused individual work with meaningful in-person collaboration.
