We’re seeking a Lead HR Manager Services & Employee Records to serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex HR operations. This role partners across HR and business teams to ensure data integrity, resolve issues, and continuously improve the employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as SME Workday transactions and primary escalation point for complex HR service and employee records issues.
  • Assist with issues found in the education or background verification processes and work with HireRight for resolution, as needed.
  • Maintain and update employment files.
  • Perform troubleshooting on a variety of issues that may extend beyond the reach of traditional HR, requiring the ability to network cross-functionally and leverage relationships to support business needs.
  • Respond to a wide variety of questions concerning data processing, employee personnel files, unemployment, and subsidiary mirror processes
  • Manage and resolve advanced HR transactions across the employee lifecycle (e.g., transfers, promotions, compensation, terminations, benefits).
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of HR data across systems (e.g., Workday, Costpoint).
  • Monitor case management workflows (ServiceNow) to ensure timely, high-quality resolution.
  • Partner cross-functionally with HR, IT, Legal, Payroll, and business stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Support audits, compliance activities, and employee records management (personnel, medical, immigration, legal).
  • Partner with Manager to lead or support projects by translating requirements into actionable plans and tracking execution.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and help implement scalable solutions.
  • Provide guidance, training, and day-to-day support to team members.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have experience with Workday HCM and HR Operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex issues independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience delivering high-quality customer service and handling escalations.
  • Ability to influence without formal authority and collaborate across teams.
  • Willingness to provide occasional after-hours support.
  • US citizenship is required and able to obtain security clearance as needed.
  • Education/experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of HR operation experience; OR
    • Associate’s degree with 4+ years of HR operation experience; OR
    • High school diploma/equivalent with 6+ years of HR operation experience.   

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Employee Records Retention and Compliance.
  • Familiarity with HR systems (e.g., Deltek Time & Expense).
  • Experience supporting audits and compliance processes.
  • Project or process improvement experience.
  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).

Pay Range:Pay Range $52,000.00 - $94,000.00
