Full Stack Developer (AdTech Focus)
About the Role
We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong experience building scalable, data-driven web applications and a deep interest in advertising technology. You’ll work across the stack to design, build, and optimize systems that power digital advertising workflows—such as audience targeting, ad serving, attribution, reporting, and real-time analytics. You will also help us leverage AI and machine learning to build smarter, more predictive advertising systems.
This is a fully remote role. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, data, media, and AI, and is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems at scale in a fast-moving AdTech environment.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications supporting AdTech use cases (campaign management, targeting, attribution, measurement, reporting)
- Develop scalable backend services and APIs for high-volume, low-latency data processing
- Build intuitive, performant front-end experiences for internal tools and customer-facing dashboards
- Work with large datasets including event streams, impression logs, and conversion data
- Collaborate with product, data, and analytics teams to translate advertising requirements into technical solutions
- Optimize systems for performance, reliability, and scalability under real-time traffic
- Implement data privacy, consent, and compliance considerations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Participate in architecture decisions, code reviews, and technical roadmap planning
- Integrate AI/ML models and pipelines into advertising products (e.g., predictive bidding, audience modeling, anomaly detection)
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or Software Engineer
- Strong proficiency in modern backend languages and frameworks (e.g., Scala, Python, Java)
- Experience building APIs (REST and/or GraphQL)
- Strong front-end experience with modern frameworks (Vue, React)
- Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (Postgres, MySQL, etc.)
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures, message queues, or streaming platforms (Kafka, Pub/Sub, Kinesis)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
AdTech / Domain Experience (Strongly Preferred)
- Experience in AdTech, MarTech, or media platforms
- Understanding of digital advertising concepts such as:
- DSPs, DMP’s, SSPs, ad exchanges
- Audience targeting and segmentation
- Attribution models and measurement
- Programmatic, CTV, mobile, and location-based advertising
- Experience working with large-scale event data (impressions, clicks, conversions)
- Familiarity with identity, cross-device graphs, or ID resolution
- Knowledge of privacy-safe data handling and consent frameworks
Nice to Have
- Experience with real-time bidding (RTB) systems
- Data engineering experience (ETL pipelines, Spark, BigQuery, Redshift)
- Experience with feature flags, A/B testing, or experimentation platforms
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
- Prior work in high-scale, high-throughput systems
What We Offer
- Opportunity to work on cutting-edge advertising technology at scale
- Competitive salary and equity (if applicable)
- Flexible work environment
- Collaborative, engineering-driven culture
- Real ownership over architecture and product direction
