The Role

We are seeking a seasoned Ecosystem & AI Partner Marketing Leader with 10+ years of experience to join our Product Marketing organization. In this role, you will own the strategy, planning, and execution of marketing campaigns and assets related to multiple partners or programs. This requires a deep understanding of the business and our partner motions, with the ability to derive insights from metrics and drive desired outcomes. You will play a pivotal role in shaping strategy to meet marketing goals by leveraging a strong understanding of the MongoDB Partner Ecosystem, collaborating cross-functionally, and effectively managing resources. This leader will be adept at leading complex cross-functional projects, while also shaping the long-term vision, messaging, and go-to-market strategy across the partner ecosystem. This includes driving impact with emerging AI partners as MongoDB strengthens its position in the AI space.

Position Expectations/Role Responsibilities/What You’ll Do…
  • Strategize and Execute - Drive clarity on strategy and desired outcomes with complete independence. Identify and solve ambiguous problems, shape strategic direction, and deliver impactful programs with minimal guidance
  • Influence and Collaborate - Partner across the organization, influencing high-visibility strategies, large stakeholder groups, and key partners. Facilitate productive discussions to help drive consensus and align teams toward simple, coherent approaches
  • Lead and Mentor - Actively mentor and develop talent, including both individual Partner Marketers and collaborators across the broader organization. Provide thoughtful feedback, participate in performance and growth evaluations, and demonstrate leadership that fosters growth
  • Communicate - Effectively communicate with senior leaders, providing expertise in decision-making around the strategy for your partner or program area. Translate diverse inputs into clear communications (e.g., GTM plans, OKRs, impact analyses, business reviews). Navigate differing viewpoints and build consensus
  • Analyze and Problem Solve - Structure and solve complex, multi-dimensional problems, bringing order to chaos.  Move fluidly between strategic and tactical perspectives, and be recognized by stakeholders as a trusted problem-solver
Qualifications/Requirements/We’re Looking For Someone With…
  • Demonstrated ability to independently develop and execute partner marketing strategies that drive measurable outcomes
  • 10+ years of experience working across marketing and partner organizations in an enterprise software/SaaS context, with broad strategic influence
  • Proven ability to align both internal and external teams and organizations toward simple, coherent objectives
  • Mastery of marketing planning and program development across multiple channels, audiences, and partners
  • Proven ability to bring clarity to ambiguity by structuring and solving complex, multi-dimensional challenges
  • Skilled at moving seamlessly between strategic and tactical views, considering implications across the organization and partner ecosystem
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey high-level plans and dive deeply into details with senior leadership
  • Experience in actively mentoring and developing others across organizations
  • Experience in managing budgets and resources, including Marketing Development Funds (MDF), to maximize partner impact and program efficiency

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.

$104,000$204,000 USD
