The Opportunity

We are looking for a Talented Remote Lead Corporate Recruiter to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for the full spectrum of the hiring plan from identifying needs and shortlisting candidates to closing successful hires. You will create a mutual win for our customers, employees and for Root by hiring great individuals for roles that are a great fit for them.

Salary Range: $117,680 - $132,390 (LTI Eligible)

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Lead and manage the full-cycle recruitment process, developing and executing recruitment strategies, and building relationships with hiring managers and candidates to attract and hire top talent for corporate roles

  • Mentor and oversee a team of 3 Customer Service and Claims Operations recruiters

  • Attract top talent at all levels across the Finance and Accounting, Legal, Marketing, Sales, Actuary, Business Development and Human Resources teams with an additional focus on recruiting for Executive level roles

  • Aggressively source and connect with both active and passive candidates using various diverse sourcing tools

  • Research, recommend, implement, and utilize diversity-focused job boards

  • Uphold legal compliance and professional standards throughout the entire recruitment process

What You Will Need to Succeed

  • 6+ years of recruiting experience in a corporate environment. A combination of agency and corporate recruiting a plus

  • 3 + years overseeing enterprise projects and coordinating between projects to help drive projects to success

  • Knowledge of and experience with an Applicant Tracking System. Workday and/or Rippling preferred but not required

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and organize workload in a constantly changing environment to meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines

  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles

  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent people skills, with ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy

  • Excellent organizational skills and diligence

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

  • Ability to work in a team and independently
