About the Role

The Lead Client Success Manager is a senior, high-impact, customer-facing role responsible for driving the strategic success, retention, and expansion of Atropos Health’s Health System and Life Sciences relationships. Serving as the executive-facing, post-sale lead, this individual acts as a trusted advisor to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and health system stakeholders, ensuring measurable value realization from Atropos Health’s real-world evidence solutions.

This role owns the full customer lifecycle, from implementation through long-term growth, with accountability for renewal strategy, risk mitigation, and expansion planning. The Lead Client Success Manager proactively identifies opportunities to deepen platform adoption, introduce new use cases, and expand stakeholder engagement across a myriad of teams, including R&D, market access, medical affairs, and commercial teams.

Working cross-functionally with Clinical Insights, Data Science, Engineering, Product, and Commercial teams, this individual translates complex analytical capabilities into strategic business impact. They lead executive business reviews, align customer objectives with quantifiable outcomes, and influence internal roadmap decisions by representing the voice of the customer.

Operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, this individual must exercise strong prioritization and executive judgment to effectively navigate competing client demands, internal dependencies, and commercial objectives.

A successful Lead Client Success Manager combines scientific and analytical fluency with strong project management skills, commercial acumen, and executive presence. They are equally comfortable interpreting real-world data insights, shaping value narratives for senior stakeholders, and driving portfolio-level growth through strategic relationship management.

  • Conduct executive business reviews that translate platform utilization, outcomes, and insights into quantified impact and forward-looking strategic plans

  • Manage a high-volume, complex portfolio of enterprise accounts, effectively prioritizing competing initiatives and balancing delivery excellence with strategic growth objectives.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
