As a Lead Architect at JPMorgan Chase at Public Cloud Enablement and Adoption team within Corporate Technology, you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality architecture solutions for various software applications on modern cloud-based technologies.
You are a visionary technologist with a passion for shaping the future of cloud computing platforms. You will play a pivotal role in shaping, influencing, and governing our architecture function to support the implementation of our multi-cloud platform and our "OneCloud" strategy to enable hybrid multi-cloud and a consistent developer experience.

Job responsibilities
- Engages technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose technical approaches to meet current and future needs
- Defines the technical target state of their product and drives achievement of the strategy
- Participates in architecture governance bodies
- Leads and influences the strategic direction of our multi-cloud platform architecture, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Works with senior leaders to capture requirements and articulate architecture approaches and designs on platform implementation.
- Translates complex technical issues, trends, and approaches to leadership, enabling informed decision-making about our multi-cloud architecture.
- Collaborates across teams to implement and advance the adoption of complex, strategic global solutions that enhance our multi-cloud capabilities.
- Drives the adoption and implementation of cutting-edge technical methods in multi-cloud environments, in line with the latest development methodologies.
- Establishes and lead an data driven architecture governance framework to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance across multi-cloud initiatives.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Formal training and certification in cloud computing (Google, AWS or Azure).
- Hands-on experience in delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability in multi-cloud environments.
- Proven ability to create comprehensive cloud architecture designs that meet organizational needs and support future growth.
- Deep knowledge in one or more: public cloud platforms, applications/systems architecture, and technology architecture.
- Advanced expertise in cloud and systems architecture, with substantial in-depth knowledge in technical areas such as cloud computing, virtualization, or automation.
- Experience in applying expertise and new methods to solve complex architecture problems in multi-cloud environments.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in cloud platforms and infrastructure transformation
- Experience in architecture governance of design and implementation
- Experience with AI tools, LLM assisted and Agentic workflow highly desirable
