Position Overview

As a Licensing and Contracting Specialist at QuoteManage, you will play a vital role in the onboarding process for both licensed and potentially non-licensed agents. Your primary responsibility is to manage and coordinate all aspects of licensing, insurance contracting, and carrier certifications to ensure agents are fully prepared and compliant to begin selling quickly and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate pre-hire licensing and contracting tasks with both licensed and non-licensed agents, if needed.

  • Provide clear instructions and support to agents regarding QuoteManage’s contracting and licensing requirements, including emailing new hires promptly.

  • Submit insurance contracts to carriers and maintain accurate data to facilitate agent activation including daily updating of our Agent Contracting spreadsheet.

  • Communicate with agents about license renewals, including continuing education (CE) requirements, and follow up to ensure completion.

  • Manage updates and changes for active agents related to licensing, appointments, and certifications.

  • Notify LCC Manager of any licensing or Ready to Sell issues immediately.

  • Work directly with insurance carriers represented by QuoteManage to ensure agent readiness.

  • Partner closely with the support teams like Learning & Development to align onboarding timelines and maintain agent readiness.

  • Coordinate with internal sales teams to ensure all agents meet AEP readiness goals.

  • Maintain up-to-date data for agent licensing and contracting to support business continuity.

  • Serve as a point of contact for questions regarding the status of designated agents for onboarding.
