  • Effectively manage multiple projects/priorities and project risks.

  • Bring Benchling expertise and best practices to a varied userbase and stakeholder audience to ensure full software value realization.

  • Keep informed of Benchling’s features and product roadmap to better leverage capabilities as solutions for NEB business needs.

  • Maintain productive/collaborative relationships with IT and business partners across NEB as well as 3rd party software vendors.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • BS in Biology, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, or related field.

  • Experience with Benchling as an end-user and/or system configuration expertise is required. Experience in other Enterprise or niche scientific data systems such as but not limited to other ELNs, LIMS, MES, ERP, and data analysis/visualization tools is a plus.

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in an R&D and/or biomanufacturing scientific role utilizing bench scientist molecular biology techniques and any combination of bioinformatics, scientific data curation, scientific data analysis and visualization experience is required.

  • Exceptional written and verbal cross-functional communicator able to translate complex scientific data concepts into system configuration and custom data workflows directed at scientific, software developer, and leadership audiences for effective project management and execution.

  • Highly motivated, independent contributor and strong team player/collaborator with a great work ethic able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks with minimal supervision.

  • Must be excited by the opportunity to continually learn new systems, skills, and concepts.
