Kronos Senior Business Analyst Lead
Job Summary:Next Generation, Inc., an Equal Opportunity Employer, is seeking a Kronos Senior Business Analyst Lead to support the upgrade from Kronos Workforce Central (WFC) to UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM). This role includes consolidating five WFC instances into a single UKG Pro WFM instance, managing complex integrations, and ensuring seamless data transfer with PeopleSoft HRMS and other legacy systems. The role requires strong experience in stakeholder management, requirements gathering, Kronos/UKG configuration, PeopleSoft-related processes, and testing leadership. This is a fully remote position with occasional onsite client visits as needed.
Job Responsibilities:- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document requirements for the UKG Pro WFM upgrade.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed functional specifications.
- Develop, manage, and execute test scripts ensuring full coverage of business scenarios and validation of configurations.
- Support implementation, configuration, and validation of Kronos Workforce Central and UKG Pro WFM, including Timekeeper and other modules such as Activities, Mobile, and Analytics.
- Lead the extraction, cleansing, reformatting, and migration of data from WFC into UKG Pro WFM.
- Provide team leadership to Kronos analysts, guiding testing, validation, and system troubleshooting activities.
- Work closely with the system integrator and PMO to support integrations between Kronos/UKG and PeopleSoft HRMS, including middleware work using Boomi.
- Validate configuration of pay rules, union/CBA rules, and payroll processing to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee updates to pay rates and related data housed within PeopleSoft HRMS.
- Coordinate project deliverables, timelines, and risks with the Program Manager to ensure successful execution.
- Participate in project planning, cutover preparation, and post‑implementation support activities.
- Travel to the customer’s location as needed for workshops, testing sessions, and key meetings.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst Lead supporting Kronos or UKG Pro WFM implementations.
- Strong knowledge of Kronos WFC and UKG Pro WFM configuration and implementation processes.
- Experience developing and executing test scripts for complex system upgrades or integrations.
- Familiarity with integration tools and middleware, particularly Kronos/UKG Boomi.
- Experience with PeopleSoft HRMS and its integration touchpoints with WFM systems.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and lead others in a collaborative environment.
