Join our dynamic team as a Key Account Manager for US Channels - Grocery, where you'll play a crucial role in driving our business plan and orchestrating key growth initiatives! In this exciting position, you'll be the main point of contact for our valued customers, driving brand protection efforts and shaping our in-store and digital strategies. You'll also lead innovative test-and-learn projects that aim to put more of our products in the hands of consumers and propel our business forward.
Core Responsibilities
The Key Account Manager for the US Channels - Grocery business is a vital member of the team in helping to drive flawless execution of the business plan as the owner of key growth initiatives. In addition to supporting the delivery of the Channel business plan, some of the other primary responsibilities include being the driver of and call point for the key customer contacts, our brand protection initiatives, our in-store and digital strategy, as well as other key test & learn innovation efforts designed to put more of our products in consumers hands and grow or business.
I. Develop & Implement Business Strategy:
Strategic Orientation: Internalizes The LEGO® Group’s and our customer’s strategy to develop differentiated joint business plans which deliver upon our shared objectives, while capitalizing on the customer’s unique value proposition and shopper base.
Commercial Integration: Innovates upon our go-to-market principles to deliver a highly integrated and ambitious commercial & promotional plan which encompasses all facets of the business-ranging from retail and storefront execution to platform marketing and eCommerce operations.
II. Drive Results: Delivers on key objectives to drive sustainable commercial growth.
Data-Driven Decision-Making: Drives strong scorecard performance against key traffic, conversion, and retail critical metric targets through an analytical approach and a deep understanding of both the key paid & organic business drivers.
Planning & Operations: Liaises with partners in Operations to ensure execution of above-mentioned business strategy.
III. Relationship Elevation: Delivers on our customer value proposition to improve customer pulse through building a trusted & productive relationship as a key customer call point.
Effective Negotiation & Selling: Leverages a data-driven approach to negotiate and manage toward mutually valuable trade agreements.
Drive Shared Innovation Agenda: Applies insights to develop a test & learn agenda for future growth opportunities which deliver on enhancing brand protection efforts while elevating our brand.
Capitalize on Licensing Partnerships: Work in close-concert with key inbound & outbound licensing partners to increase business opportunities and reach more shoppers.

The US Channels team manages relationships with strategic national and regional customers, driving recruitment and growth for The LEGO® Group. This team focuses on delivering the brand's mission by expanding distribution channels, capturing active share, and aligning product offerings with shopper needs, all while pursuing relevant opportunities in a dynamic market. Their efforts are essential for building commercial capabilities and meeting business growth expectations.
Do you have what it takes?
Proven customer-facing key account management experience in consumer packaged goods.
Track record of versatility, flexibility, and an ability to bring to bear focused behavior to prioritize in a dynamic environment
Demonstrated ability to proactively interpret trends and think criticality to challenge the status quo
High-level of integrity, enthusiasm with a presence that fits a fast-paced, energetic and collaborative organization
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerBI and/or Tableau
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with high attention to detail
An innate curiosity with a dedication to continuous improvement
Domestic and global travel required – 5%

Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $120,830.00 - $181,246.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
