General Summary and Purpose:

Execute buy and sell transactions of all asset classes of fixed income securities utilizing best execution efforts in order to maximize returns to the portfolios; manage broker relationships to facilitate good and timely information exchange; and support the portfolio manager and credit analysts with consistent up to date market information.  This position will have significant interaction with other traders on the desk and portfolio managers, primarily in the municipal bond space but also in the cash desk operations and taxable desks.  

You will report to Ed Doyle 

You Will:
  • Execute trades across all asset classes, working closely with the portfolio manager to determine issuers and issues to buy and sell.
  • Maintain primary daily communications with brokers, traders, and analysts in multiple asset classes to maintain up to date knowledge of new developments, including issuance and trading flows.
  • Understanding multiple portfolios to determine opportunities as they appear in the market
You Have:
  • Knowledge of capital markets.
  • Must be proficient in technical applications of Bloomberg and excel.
  • Strong oral communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize numerous tasks simultaneously.
  • College graduate with desire to take the CFA, MBA and/or CPA.

Target Compensation:

The target base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000

Salaries are determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees, and certifications.

Victory Capital Management operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and total compensation may vary based on role, location, department and individual performance.


Victory Capital Management’s total compensation package includes the opportunity for annual compensation bonuses and/or commissions and a generous benefits package.
