BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for assisting BluSky's growing technology team to improve our Salesforce implementation by enhancing our existing integrations and workflows. This position will report to the IT Director and work with both business stakeholders and external developers to plan and execute project-based work.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports Senior Admin in the end-to-end Salesforce ecosystem while developing a strong understanding of any related integrations syncing data with Salesforce.
- Builds, and tests scalable enhancements such as custom objects, alerts, page layouts, and more within Salesforce.
- Provides technical support and oversight for our Sales Cloud instance by defining standards and best practices.
- Works closely with business stakeholders and project management to define project requirements and implement solutions.
- Supports an external team of developers in translating requirements into Salesforce configuration and identifying where custom development/integration may need to occur.
- Helps with maintaining Salesforce applications; make approved changes by amending application documentation.
- Keeps up to date with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices to make recommendations to management regarding implementations and enhancements.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
- This role has no direct reports.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce.
- Experience configuring Salesforce sales cloud and/or support cloud.
- Strong knowledge of the Salesforce platform including configuration of custom objects, workflow rules, process builder, validation rules etc.
- Understanding of Agile methodology.
- Understanding of peer review testing to validate functional development.
- Ability to right size level of effort for development tasks.
- Experience working with customers to build and formulate business requirements.
- Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting, oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience. Preferred.
TRAVEL:
- Occasional travel. (Less than 25% of the time.) Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected for training or meetings.
