ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Junior Sales Development Representative (SDR), your primary goal will be to sell HarborLab’s online products, including our Port Cost Estimator and Husbandry Cost Estimator, to brokers, operators, and shipping companies worldwide.
You’ll be responsible for qualifying inbound leads and booking appointments for our senior sales team. You will be the first point of contact for prospects, showcasing how HarborLab’s tools bring transparency, efficiency, and cost savings to maritime operations.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Engage with inbound leads from digital campaigns, events, and referrals
- Qualify and nurture leads through phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Promote and sell HarborLab’s online tools by highlighting their value
- Schedule meetings and demos for the dedicated global Sales Team
- Update the CRM with accurate lead information and insights
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to optimize sales messaging
Requirements
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping Management, Maritime Economics or related field will be considered an asset.
- 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English, both verbally and in writing
- Strong interest in sales and digital products
- Energetic communicator who is confident with outreach and follow-ups
- Organized and goal-oriented mindset
- Familiarity with maritime/shipping is a plus, but not required
- Previous sales or customer service experience is welcomed
- Fulfilled military obligations (where applicable)
