Why This Role Matters:
Delaware Life Marketing is building a data-informed distribution strategy, using technology and analytics to allow our sales team to cover large sales territories more efficiently. Today, Sales and Marketing data is primarily used in a descriptive manner, with a data pipeline being built to enable progression to diagnostic and predictive analytics. We are seeking a junior analyst to join our analytics team to help validate analytical processes, and ensure our data-driven insights are accurate, consistent, and trustworthy. Additionally, you will support the analytics team by contributing to data visualization and analytical development projects.
Along with an educational background in data sciences, statistics, or other business analytics related fields, the successful candidate for this role will bring a strong sense of curiosity, and a desire to grow as data analytics professional embedded within a business unit.
How You'll Contribute:
- Review and validate analytical outputs, models, and data products generated by data analytics teams
- Perform comprehensive testing of reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions before deployment
- Develop and maintain quality control procedures, standards, and best practices
What We're Looking For:
- Detail-oriented professional with strong analytical mindset and commitment to accuracy
- Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across technical and business teams
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data validation and quality checking
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) for quality assessment and development
- Proactive, curious, self-starter capable of balancing multiple projects
- Strong communication skills
