DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:
The Boston Red Sox created the “Red Sox Sales Academy” in April of 2013 to grow future sports & entertainment sales leaders. To date, over 55 Academy alumni have been promoted either within Fenway Sports Group or around the industry.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Red Sox Junior Sales Associate program is a year long entry level sales program giving recent graduates the opportunity to grow into future sports and entertainment sales professionals! Responsibilities include actively selling all inventory at Fenway Park, including season tickets, partial plans, group tickets, and special events.  Junior Sales Associates will work up to 40 hours per week on site at Fenway Park, alongside the Full-Time sales team.
Start Date – July 2025
End Date – June 2026

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop new leads through cold calling, emails, text, and referrals from current customers.
  • Minimum of 125 sales activities per day; including 2 appointments per week.
  • Provides excellent customer service to prospects and current clients over the phone and at games.
  • Represent the Club in a positive and professional manner at all times.

CHARACTERISTICS / QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong desire to break into professional sports as a sales professional.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
