Position Overview:
The Program Manager will work closely with the Senior Program Manager to oversee and coordinate the operations of a dynamic internship program at a startup. The role will involve managing intern schedules, facilitating communication between departments, ensuring program goals are met, and supporting overall program success. This position is vital in creating a seamless experience for interns while driving organizational goals forward.

This internship is unpaid, designed for educational purposes, and complies with FLSA regulations. It offers valuable exposure to project management, helping to build a strong foundation for a career in business administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Senior Program Manager in planning and executing all phases of the internship program.

  • Monitor and maintain intern schedules, ensuring optimal project allocation and meeting program milestones.

  • Act as a liaison between interns and department leads, ensuring clear communication and addressing any issues.

  • Track intern progress, gather feedback, and provide updates to the Senior Program Manager.

  • Support the coordination and facilitation of intern training sessions, workshops, and meetings.

  • Help manage resources, tools, and materials needed for intern tasks and projects.

  • Contribute to developing program policies and strategies for improving efficiency and intern experience.

  • Participate in performance reviews and evaluations of interns at 30, 60, and 90-day intervals.

  • Manage logistics of weekly all-team meetings, collaboration sessions, and coaching activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven organizational and project management skills.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, or project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello).

  • Basic understanding of internship programs and how they function within startups or similar organizations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Human Resources, or a related field.

  • Experience in managing or coordinating internships, volunteer programs, or similar work-based learning programs.

  • Knowledge of startup environments and challenges.

  • Experience with performance management and providing structured feedback.

  • Familiarity with industry-standard project management frameworks (Agile, Scrum, etc.).

Internship Details:

  • Hours: 10-30 hours per week (part-time).

  • Duration: 180 days, starting from the agreed upon start date.
