Overview:

In this role you will work with design studios at some of the biggest brands as well as the top design universities in the world to deliver a training methodology that allows them to achieve value quickly. Working with our Enterprise customers, you will inspire designers to bring Gravity Sketch into their professional workflows. On the Education side, you will inspire professors and students to bring Gravity Sketch into their curriculum and give them the skills they need to utilise Gravity Sketch when they enter industry. Working closely with our users, you will gain a deep understanding of their varied workflows and how Gravity Sketch could bring an innovative approach to their design challenges.

In this role, you will help designers, product teams, and creative teams learn how to use Gravity Sketch in their workflows. Your primary focus will be footwear customers, but you may also support onboarding and training across automotive, industrial design, and other customer verticals when needed.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role. You will deliver onboarding sessions, support training engagements, help customers understand how Gravity Sketch can fit into their design process, and capture feedback that helps our Customer Success, Product, and Design Consulting teams improve the customer experience.

We are looking for someone creative to bring big ideas to the table that will drive our users to upskill and take our Education and Onboarding Program to the next level. In this role you will often be delivering people’s very first experience in Gravity Sketch, so a fun and engaging personality is a must!

Responsibilities:

Deliver onboarding and training
  • Deliver engaging onboarding and core workflow training sessions for new and existing users.

  • Help customers understand how Gravity Sketch can support footwear design workflows, including ideation, form exploration, review, and communication.

  • Use existing training materials, demos, and workflows to deliver consistent customer experiences.

  • Support more senior Design Consultants on complex workshops, pilots, or customer engagements.

Support customer success
  • Work with Customer Success Managers, Account Executives, and other Design Consultants to understand what support each customer needs.

  • Own clearly scoped customer engagements with support from senior team members.

  • Follow up with users after training sessions, capture questions, and help identify next steps.

  • Identify where customers are succeeding and where they may need additional support.

Build workflow understanding
  • Spend time with customer users to understand their current footwear design workflows and where Gravity Sketch could add value.

  • Learn how different customer teams approach design across footwear and adjacent verticals.

  • Capture customer examples, common questions, and workflow challenges in a structured way.

Capture feedback and improve resources
  • Communicate user feedback clearly to the internal team.

  • Help organise and improve training resources, documentation, workflow examples, and short learning materials.

  • Support the creation of footwear specific training content as you build expertise.

  • Share what you are learning with the wider Design Consulting and Customer Success teams.

Requirements

  • Based in or near Boston, with ability to attend customer or team sessions in person when needed.

  • Experience with footwear design, product design, industrial design, digital design tools, and design education is essential. Preferably 1+ years previous experience in a role.

  • Familiarity with design software and 3D tools. This should include a high level of proficiency in Gravity Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite and preferably some familiarity with some of the following: Rhino, Blender, Modo, KeyShot, CLO, footwear CAD tools, or similar.

  • Strong demonstrated interest in footwear design workflows and how digital tools can improve the way products are created.

  • Strong communication skills in English: both written and verbal.

  • Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to follow through on actions and keep customer information clear.

  • Self-driven and eager to learn, while comfortable asking for support when scope or customer needs are unclear.

  • Curious, positive, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-changing startup environment.

  • Comfortable working with customers, listening carefully, and adapting communication style to different users.

Benefits

  • Uncapped holidays: the startup world is busy, we encourage taking time off to recharge and rest

  • £50 month (or equivalent in dollars) personal wellbeing budget

  • Private healthcare

  • £1,000 (or equivalent in dollars) personal budget per year for professional development. You will learn a lot here but there may be more want or need. With this budget, we aim to support you in your career growth
