As a Junior Experience Designer at Code and Theory, you are crucial to evolving how users interact with digital platforms. You’ll be at the forefront of creating not just compelling deliverables but impactful solutions that reshape our understanding of user experiences in the digital landscape. Your role will leverage data and research insights to optimize platform performance and drive broader strategic innovation. In this role, you will also learn under our senior leaders, gaining insights and guidance to fast-track your development into a future leader in experience design.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to redefine user experience design, merging user insights with cutting-edge technology to drive strategic vision
- Advocate for and integrate AI and generative tools in design processes, emphasizing creativity, efficiency, and strategic platform enhancement
- Push beyond standard deliverables to explore innovative ideas that challenge existing paradigms and elevate overall design impact
- Utilize data and research findings to enhance user interactions, ensuring performance-driven design approaches
- Maintain an acute awareness of industry trends, using them to inform and elevate our design practices ahead of the curve
- Inspire a culture of innovation and curiosity within the team through active collaboration and strategic engagement
- Demonstrate flexibility and a positive attitude by supporting your team in various capacities, embracing tasks beyond your immediate role to help "make cool shit with impact" and have fun doing it
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Experience in UX design with a strong desire to learn and embrace new challenges
- Ability to translate creativity into effective and user-centric design solutions that enhance platform performance
- Demonstrable adaptability and curiosity toward emerging design technologies and data-driven methods
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, with a readiness to leverage AI-enhanced workflows
- Strong collaborative abilities, fostering a supportive and innovative creative environment
- An understanding of atomic design principles and design systems
- Expertise working in Figma (components, variables, autolayout, etc.) and a willingness to learn new tools. Proficiency with tools like AirTable, Confluence, Jira, and Principle are a bonus

The target base compensation for this role is $64,500. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
