At SPAR, we are a nimble, forward-thinking technology consulting firm, and we're on the hunt for a Junior Developer with a consulting mindset to join our growing team. In this role, you'll drive the success of complex, cloud-based CRM and Contact Center implementations for clients ranging from targeted business units to enterprise-wide initiatives.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Junior Developer to join our implementation team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to real-world projects. You'll work alongside experienced developers and consultants on a variety of projects for clients across industries.
This is a hands-on role with opportunities to learn multiple technologies. We value team players who are enthusiastic, curious, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
What You'll Do
- Assist in understanding client requirements and translating them into technical specifications with guidance from senior team members
- Support the development and configuration of scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and declarative tools
- Learn and support integration development with third-party tools and APIs
- Participate in QA and testing activities to ensure solutions meet requirements
- Help with deployment and documentation of Salesforce changes
- Continuously learn and stay up to date with new Salesforce features and best practices
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in software development, ideally with some exposure to Salesforce
- Basic understanding of Salesforce platform and its capabilities (any hands-on experience or certifications are a plus)
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming, databases, or web technologies
- Willingness to learn and work across various technologies and projects
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset
- Excellent communication skills and a desire to grow within a supportive team
Nice to Have (but not required)
- Salesforce Admin or Platform Developer I Certification
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience working on team or school projects involving system development or integrations
