RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform daily cost control activities in accordance with internal FP&A policies and procedures.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes by working closely with the finance team to develop, maintain, and monitor budgets.
- Conduct variance analysis by comparing actual costs to budgeted figures; identify root causes of deviations and recommend corrective measures.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including cost analyses, budget variance reports, and ad hoc reports for senior management.
- Present financial findings clearly and provide actionable insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Continuously assess and improve cost control processes for efficiency and effectiveness, identifying opportunities for automation and optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, operations, and finance to align cost control activities with overall business goals.
- Provide guidance and support to other teams on cost control best practices and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, ideally within an IT or tech company.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Good knowledge of accounting standards, financial regulations, and cost control techniques.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence key stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines.
- English language proficiency at B2 level or higher.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets is required.
