At Jukebox Health, our mission is to empower everyone to live safer, healthier, more independent lives at home. We partner with health plans to make homes safer and more accessible for older adults and high-needs populations. We achieve this by combining technology with networks of clinicians, suppliers, and installers to deliver personalized home modifications and environmental supports nationwide. Founded by experienced entrepreneurs, Jukebox Health is a fast growing healthcare services company backed by top venture capital firms like Valtruis and The Home Depot.

We're looking for an ambitious Junior Chief of Staff to sit at the center of Jukebox's day-to-day operations. Reporting to the VP of People, you'll work across leadership, Growth, and People. You will keep things moving from executive logistics to hiring support and culture programming while building a deep understanding of how a high-growth healthtech company runs. This is a real launchpad for someone who wants to grow into a Chief of Staff, People Operations, or broader business operations role. If you're early in your career, thrive on variety, and want to be close to the action at a mission-driven company, this is your role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage calendaring and logistics for the co-founders, including scheduling, travel coordination, and maintaining clear communication on their behalf
  • Own end-to-end meeting operations for key recurring meetings across teams — scheduling, agenda building, and herding team members for action items
  • Coordinate domestic travel for the Growth team including flights, hotels, ground transportation, and itineraries
  • Support the People team with interview scheduling, candidate communications, event logistics, offsites, happy hours, and culture programming from concept through execution
  • Own ad hoc projects and operational tasks across the company including research, vendor coordination, gift purchases, process documentation, and whatever else needs to get done
  • Identify gaps in how we operate and propose or implement solutions without being asked
Qualifications

Required

  • 1–3 years of experience in an operational, administrative, or generalist business role — startup experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and work independently without close supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; high degree of discretion and integrity around confidential information
  • Comfort with ambiguity
  • Reliable availability during Eastern business hours
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Notion, and Slack
  • Expert user of AI tools to work faster and smarter

Preferred

  • Familiarity with travel booking and expense platforms (e.g., Ramp)
  • Experience supporting founders and/or People teams
  • Interest in growing into a Chief of Staff, People Operations, or business operations role
How We Invest In You
  • Generous company-funding of our health, vision, and dental plans
  • HSA plan with company seeding
  • FSA plan
  • Short and Long-Term Disability
  • Life and Personal Accident Insurance
  • Hospital Insurance
  • 401k immediately upon hire
  • Generous candidate referral program
  • Yearly wellness stipend

Time Away

  • Unlimited PTO + 10 paid holidays

Remote First Team

  • $1000 stipend towards work from home costs
  • Frequent team off-sites and get-togethers around the country
  • Collaborative team environment
  • Monthly Townhalls
  • High trust environment
  • A laptop and company swag upon hire

Compensation Range: $65,000 - 75,000/year + company equity

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
