Split equally between active sales development and operational support, this role is ideal for a proactive professional eager to build a sales career while gaining comprehensive exposure across sales collateral, market analysis, CRM management, and client relations.  Serving in this hybrid sales capacity, you will oversee the complete account progression for emerging and regional partners. Your primary focus includes identifying, presenting to, and securing fresh growth opportunities while deepening your expertise across digital advertising.

This integral role bridges direct revenue generation, sales operations, and account management.

You will be responsible for hunting and closing smaller accounts in emerging regional markets, while simultaneously serving as the operational backbone for the broader sales team and stepping in to maintain client continuity when team members take time off.

This role is eligible for commission and commission is uncapped.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate Sales: Conduct outreach, cold calling, and prospecting to build a healthy pipeline of brand or agency targets.

  • Market Penetration: Identify, target, and prospect smaller accounts within underperforming or emerging regional markets to drive brand penetration and revenue growth.

  • Lead Generation: Execute targeted phone, email, and social outreach strategies to generate fresh opportunities in designated growth regions.

  • Pipeline Management: Own and manage the full sales lifecycle for small-scale clients, from cold outreach and lead qualification to presentation, negotiation, and closing.

Proposal Creation & Campaign Strategy
  • Ad Solution Formulation: Help design customized multi-channel social, digital ad, and newsletter marketing packages aligned with client objectives.

  • Presentations: Develop and deliver persuasive, tailored sales proposals that showcase the value of our online offerings.

Account Management & Operational Support (50%)

  • Sales Enablement & Marketing Collateral: Organize, maintain, and distribute sales assets, pitch decks, case studies, and marketing collateral to ensure the team has up-to-date, high-impact tools.

  • Team Operations & Request Handling: Act as the central point of contact for daily sales team requests and inquiries.

  • Account Coverage: Serve as the primary, seamless contact for accounts when senior team members take paid time off, execute business travel, or handle specialized projects.

  • CRM Hygiene & Administrative Maintenance: Keep customer records, deal stages, and account communication efforts accurate and up to date within Zoho CRM.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration:  Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams (creative, ad operations, production, editorial, etc) in support of the sales function.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in the media industry in sales support, business development, customer success, or account management (internship experience considered for exceptional candidates). Candidates with a proven track record of sales development and planning preferred.

  • Skills:

  • Proven understanding of digital media and advertising landscape.

  • Ability to read, understand, and answer client and agency RFPs

  • Internally motivated with demonstrated ability to self-start, cold-prospect, and handle small-scale deal cycles.

  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to prioritize fast-moving internal requests without dropping the ball.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both client-facing selling and internal team coordination.

  • Quick adaptability to step into established accounts and manage client relationships seamlessly during coverage periods.

  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (Zoho and Apollo preferred).

    • Proficiency in Google Workspace.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.

Work Structure & Environment

  • Remote: Mommy Poppins operates as a fully remote company.

  • Cross-Functional Exposure: Direct, daily interaction across marketing, operations, and leadership, providing high visibility and clear pathways for career advancement into senior account management or other leadership roles.

What We Offer

  • Professional Growth: Structured onboarding, tailored mentoring, and exposure to various functions designed to support advancement toward growth.

  • Compensation: Competitive base pay combined with an uncapped commission incentive directly tied to revenue production and closed deals.

  • Exposure to both SMB and Enterprise sales cycles — a rare dual experience

  • The chance to be part of a mission-driven company making a real impact for families and communities

Requirements
