Leading investment bank requires a Java Developer to join their growing team in Quincy. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated individual to contribute to the team locally, while working within a broader global team. The team is part of a new and exciting department which aims to unify the business platforms across senior management, trading desks and trading management, risk managers and risk analytics among others.


Who we are looking for:

  • Java, Oracle, and Micro services skills, implement features, fix bugs and participate in support investigations, collaborate closely with product management, QA and other development team members.
  • Learn and implement best practices in coding and design, and keep up on the latest developments with Java, J2EE/Java EE and JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS and React etc.
  • Participate in code and design reviews, scrum-style team meetings and retrospectives
  • Contribute your ideas to continually improving our applications and processes.
  • Deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of cloud-based production system.
  • Participate in automating cloud native technologies, deploying applications, and provisioning infrastructure.

What you will be responsible for:

  •  Performing Proof-of-Concept to establish design patterns.
  •  Developing front end and backend applications architecture and knowledge of web application servers like Tomcat, Jetty, JBoss etc
  •  End to End Develop , unit test , deploy and post deploy support for deliverables.
  •  DevOps practices and CICD model of development.
  •  Ability to debug and support the application maintenance.

These skills will help you succeed in this role:

  • 2 Year + Experience on Core Java, Micro services , REST, Test Driven Design, Oracle, GIT, JUnit, Jenkins, MQ, KAFKA
  • Full Stack Java developer with excellent Object Oriented design skills, JavaEE, messaging and database development
  • Front-end GUI skill sets to work on all aspects of multiple web-based and machine-to-machine API based applications
  • Passionate about software development with Java / JAVA J2EE/ React Js / REST and SOAP web services using Java
  • Knowledge on relational databases like Oracle / DB2 and SQL
