What project is about:
It is a Cash Management system designed to deliver precise cash ladders to all teams within the organization. It empowers the Short Term Desk by enabling efficient order raising and serves as the official source for cash ladders. ECHO supports short-term trading, FX maintenance and collateral management.
We are planning a significant qualitative re-build of the platform, modernizing its architecture and underlying technologies.
What you will do
We are not looking for someone just to work on well defined tasks.
- You will lead the design, development, and maintenance of the platform rebuild
- You will be clarifying and challenging provided requirements coming from PO/BA and users.
- You will be defending your proposal to your teammates, ensuring that solution is ready to handle various types of issues/exceptional scenarios.
- You will be providing L2/L3 support for a product you are building
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar
- 5+ years of Java programming (Java Core + multithreading).
- Experience with Kafka and/or other real-time messaging systems.
- Ability to work well independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Experience with recovery mechanisms and exception management.
- Strong analytical ability to learn independently from code / reverse engineering.
- Experience with database systems such as Postgres, MySql or Oracle.
- Experience with Python.
