About EliseAI

EliseAI develops cutting-edge agentic AI technology for industries fundamental to our lives: housing and healthcare. Everything is built on the foundation of health and home. Broken systems or ineffective processes in these domains have a disproportionate impact on our quality of life and society’s overall wellbeing. Conversely, any solution or technology that solves problems in these areas will have an impact that ripples far beyond them.

That’s the only kind of impact we are interested in having at EliseAI. If you get excited by the thought of working really hard on these kinds of problems, then EliseAI is the right place for you.

We recently raised a $250 million Series E round led by Andreessen Horowitz to accelerate this mission

About The Role

We’re looking for an IT Support Specialist to own IT operations in our NYC office and support our growing network in San Francisco, Boston, and beyond.

As the go-to IT partner onsite, you’ll ensure employees have the tools and support they need to do their best work, whether it’s setting up devices, resolving technical issues, or maintaining local infrastructure. You’ll collaborate closely with People Operations and Security teams, driving improvements that make IT systems simpler, faster, and more reliable. This role is ideal for someone who’s resourceful, self-motivated, and eager to solve problems hands-on.

Key Responsibilities

  • Device Management: Procure, configure, and set up laptops, monitors, and peripherals for new hires and employees

  • Provisioning & Security: Enroll devices in required security tools, ensure compliance with provisioning processes, and manage device configuration through MDM solutions

  • Support & Troubleshooting: Provide Tier 1 IT support, resolving issues across macOS, Windows, SaaS platforms, networking, and AV systems (including password resets, software installs, and hardware troubleshooting)

  • Lifecycle Management: Coordinate laptop upgrades, trade-ins, and refresh cycles; provide temporary replacement devices and maximize equipment lifespan

  • Software Support: Maintain and support core systems such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Adobe Suite, and other business-critical SaaS tools

  • Onboarding: Lead IT onboarding for new hires, ensuring a seamless day-one experience and smooth ramp-up

  • IT Infrastructure: Maintain and improve local office systems (WiFi, conferencing gear, printers, dashboards) and coordinate with vendors or building management as needed

  • Automation & Documentation: Implement light automations to streamline recurring tasks, manage software updates/provisioning, and create clear technical guides for employees

  • Collaboration & Events: Support company meetings and events by setting up AV equipment, Zoom links, and providing live technical support

  • Inventory Management: Own local hardware inventory, office setups, and full device lifecycle management

  • Attract top-tier talent to join our driven team

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of IT or technical support experience with hands-on troubleshooting across macOS and Windows

  • Deep familiarity with SaaS tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Okta, and MDM solutions (Hexnode, Jamf preferred)

  • Understanding of identity and access management (SSO) concepts

  • Resourceful and comfortable navigating ambiguity and taking initiative to go the extra mile and solve problems independently

  • Organized and detail-oriented, with strong follow-through and proactive communication.

  • Excited to grow beyond traditional helpdesk tasks, developing skills in infrastructure, automation, and systems administration

  • Collaborative and communicative: able to partner effectively across teams and translate technical issues into clear, actionable information

  • Willingness to work onsite in NYC, five days a week

  • Willingness to work in person at our office 4-5 days a week

Why Join

Growth and impact. It’s not often that you can get in on the ground floor of a funded (unicorn!) startup that’s scaling. That means that instead of following a playbook, you’ll be writing it. Every single day you will be challenged to identify how we can scale and execute on it. You’ll learn what works when you succeed and what doesn’t when you fail. Either way, the rest of the team will be here to support you.

Benefits

In addition to the growth and impact you’ll have at EliseAI, we offer competitive salaries along with the following benefits:

  • Equity in the company in the form of stock options

  • Medical, Dental and Vision premiums covered at 100%

  • Fully paid parental leave

  • Commuter benefits

  • 401k benefits

  • Monthly fitness stipend

  • A collaborative in-office environment with an open floor plan, fully stocked kitchen, and company-paid lunch

  • Fun company social events through our Elise and the City program

  • Unlimited vacation and paid holidays

  • We'll cover relocation packages and make the move exciting, not painful!

Job Compensation Range

The salary range for this role is $75-90K. EliseAI offers a competitive total rewards package which includes base salary, equity, and a comprehensive benefits & perks package. Exact compensation is determined based on a number of factors including experience, skill level, location and qualifications which are assessed during the interview process. Additional details about total compensation and benefits will be provided by our Recruiting Team during the hiring process.

EliseAI provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.

Please note that employment with EliseAI is on an "at-will" basis, which means that either the employee or the company may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause or notice.

Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
