Job Summary
This role provides hands-on IT support and systems administration across Microsoft 365, identity platforms, and endpoint management tools. The IT Specialist handles user lifecycle tasks, device provisioning, troubleshooting, and operational support for a remote workforce. The position collaborates closely with Corporate IT and Security to maintain a reliable, secure, and well-documented environment that aligns with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

Essential Functions
- Provide technical assistance for issues related to computer systems, hardware, software, and SaaS services.
- Support identity lifecycle tasks across Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra ID, Okta, and other business systems.
- Set up and configure new user accounts, devices, and required software.
- Support user offboarding, including timely access removal and hardware recovery.
- Manage device provisioning, configuration, and patching using endpoint management tools
- Support administration of Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
- Troubleshoot issues across Windows and macOS devices.
- Maintain accurate asset inventory, ensure devices are tagged, and update asset records.
- Assist with basic security tasks such as MFA setup, access reviews, endpoint alerts, and compliance checks.
- Document standard operating procedures, runbooks, and knowledge base content.
- Support incident response activities as directed.
- Install, update, and troubleshoot core business applications.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned based on business needs
Minimum Requirements
- 2–4 years of IT support or systems administration experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra ID identity concepts, and cloud/SaaS administration.
- Experience with endpoint management tools such as Intune, NinjaOne, or Kandji.
- Proficiency supporting both Windows and macOS environments.
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with remote and onsite-event employees.
- Understanding of Active Directory, security permissions, and MFA.
- Customer-focused and calm under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- CompTIA certifications such as A+, Network+, or Security+.
- Microsoft 365 Modern Desktop Administrator or similar certification.
- Experience supporting audiovisual systems, VPN/wireless networks, or IT process automation.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
- Remote office environment: Works primarily at a desk using a computer, with moderate noise levels. Supports remote users.:
- Frequent sitting and computer-based work.
- Some walking and standing for equipment and user support.
- Occasional lifting and moving of IT hardware such as laptops and monitors.
