Summary of Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced M&A IT Project Manager to oversee and manage our infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in M&A, project management, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of infrastructure development. Experience supporting infrastructure integration during mergers and acquisitions is a must.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and finalize infrastructure projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
- Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Track project milestones and deliverables.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
- Lead infrastructure integration efforts during mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption to business operations.
Other Responsibilities:
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience supporting infrastructure integration during mergers and acquisitions is a must-have.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management, specifically large scale merger and acquisitions.
- 7 plus years of demonstrated experience managing projects related to mergers and acquisitions, including system integration and data migration.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience in strategic planning, risk management, and/or change management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Expected Salary Range
$124,000.00 - $208,000.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
