- Administer and maintain core business systems including Microsoft 365 (or Google Workspace), cloud platforms, VPNs, and internal SaaS tools
- Manage identity and access across all systems, Active Directory / Azure AD, SSO, MFA enforcement, and role-based permissions
- Monitor and maintain cybersecurity posture: endpoint protection, patch management, vulnerability assessments, and incident response
- Establish and maintain IT policies, documentation, and standard operating procedures that scale with company growth
- Manage vendor relationships and software licensing, ensuring cost-effectiveness and contract compliance
- Support IT-related components of new hire onboarding, including access provisioning, hardware shipping, and equipment setup for remote employees
- Contribute to infrastructure projects including network improvements, system migrations, and tool rollouts
What You Bring
- 3–5+ years of experience in IT systems administration, preferably in a distributed or multi-location environment
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, Azure AD / Entra ID, and MDM solutions (Intune, Jamf, or similar)
- Experience supporting ERP or CRM platforms (NetSuite experience is a strong plus)
- Solid understanding of network fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, and cloud networking
- Hands-on experience with endpoint security, patch management tools, and security best practices
- Excellent documentation habits - you write things down, you keep them current, and your colleagues can actually follow them
- Strong communication skills; able to translate technical issues into plain language for non-technical team members
- Self-directed and organized - you manage your own queue, escalate when needed, and close the loop
- Experience working remotely in a role requiring coordination across multiple teams or time zones
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with construction, trades, or field-service industries
- Experience with project management platforms like Basecamp or Monday.com
- Exposure to AV/smart home technology ecosystems (Control4, Lutron, Crestron, etc.)
- CompTIA Security+, Microsoft certifications, or similar credentials
