Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Integration and Strategy Project Manager to assist the Senior Director as a point of contact guiding newly acquired affiliate business leaders, on their IT transition journey into the AmeriLife enterprise. This candidate will help manage IT workstreams for our newly acquired companies and be responsible for project managing post-acquisition integration of various IT systems, networks, equipment upgrades, and platforms. The ideal candidate possesses project management and M&A integration expertise, has a strong service focus, enjoys problem solving and driving results, and understands critical path and success factors for M&A integrations. Familiarity with network infrastructure, PC migration methodologies, Microsoft O365 and business process reengineering skills is helpful.Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as liaison between the IT department and new affiliate business leaders, fostering positive relationships, promoting a collaborative and customer-focused approach to IT support and service delivery.
- Lead, guide and mentor the integration team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Guide new affiliate business leaders, on hardware, software, network infrastructure, security protocols, and IT best practices.
- Conduct regular meetings and presentations to update new affiliate business leaders on IT projects, progress, and upcoming initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, system administrators, vendors/consultants, and end-users, to gather requirements, assess needs, and define integration objectives.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute projects, including network upgrades, Office 365 migration, PC upgrades, and user migrations minimizing disruption and downtime.
- Monitor integration project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure on-time delivery and quality outcomes.
- Facilitate meeting agendas, document meeting minutes, and follow ups, and manage completion of outstanding tasks with project team members.
- Advise, monitor, and mature methodology standards utilized by delivery teams.
- Collaborate with IT leadership on continuous improvement activities to better and mature the IT department.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience with client-facing account and project management, managing and monitoring numerous simultaneous projects; consulting experience is a plus
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and plans, and varying stakeholder priorities.
- Knowledge of M&A IT integration, with understanding of Microsoft Office 365, PC migrations, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
- Project management certification is a plus.
- Experience with business process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and capability maturity models.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs in a fast-paced environment.
