We are looking for an IT Helpdesk Specialist to support our team with Tier 1 technical support. This role is ideal for someone early in their IT career who enjoys problem-solving, providing great user support, and learning through hands-on experience. This is a part-time opportunity, that will require 20 hours of weekly commitment.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for technical issues, assisting with device management, user access, and troubleshooting, while escalating more complex problems to senior IT staff. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to system audits, patching, and IT documentation.

Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support and escalate complex issues to senior IT staff.
- Assist with user account management, permissions, and access control.
- Support laptop and mobile device administration (setup, troubleshooting, maintenance).
- Help review system vulnerabilities and apply patches when needed.
- Perform application, system, and account audits to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Assist in maintaining and updating IT documentation and support materials.
- Participate in team processes including support ticket tracking and status reporting.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a technical support or IT helpdesk role.
- Familiarity with user management systems and access controls (e.g., Active Directory, ENTRA, or similar).
- Basic knowledge of laptop/mobile device support and troubleshooting (Windows/macOS/iOS/AndroidOS).
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Willingness to learn and work collaboratively with IT and other teams.
- Experience with IT ticketing systems is a plus.
