Job Summary

The IT Enterprise Applications Architect at GuidePoint Security will work on the cutting edge of Information Technology and Information Security.  This position is for a self-driven technology fanatic who consistently tinkers, tweaks, learns and improves. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, technology-centric environment, enjoys challenges with new technologies (Cloud and Mobile), streamlines traditional operations, manages multiple initiatives and takes pride in enabling process with technology.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Maintain working knowledge of sales, service and financial business processes and how current application stack supports them.
  • Work with Business Analysts to gather, analyze and articulate high-level business and technology capabilities & requirements.
  • Identify correlated requests to organize into streamlined efforts to maximize return.
  • Provide guidance to delivery teams and business units as needed.
  • Develop, maintain, and adhere to IT best practices, including but not limited to security, naming conventions and vendor recommended configurations.
  • Maintain technical architecture diagrams including but not limited to system interface diagrams, entity relationship maps and data flow diagrams.
  • Manage workload and communicates progress, expectations and issues to management and stakeholders in a consistent and timely manner.
  • Support the creation of strategic roadmaps that sequence technology initiatives based on business priorities and technical dependencies, aligning to the overall enterprise strategy.
  • Define architectural standards to promote standardization across the enterprise application stack.
  • Establish relationships with key delivery team SMEs to drive collaboration and innovation.
  • Be willing to seek out expert guidance and knowledge through various outlets including but not limited to the application communities, peers, support organizations, partners, and leading industry experts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

  • Possess strong technical-facing written/verbal communication skills.
  • Experience documenting, driving standardization and optimizing business processes with an emphasis on sales and finance business processes.
  • Expert understanding of the Salesforce platform including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and CPQ.
  • Expert understanding of the NetSuite or similar ERP platform including accounting, order management and procurement.
  • Experience with cloud based and modern user interface (UI) tools and technologies.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of designing solutions in a secure, growth-oriented environment.
  • Experience working on an international scale is a plus.

Educational & Professional Credentials

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience working with sales and financial platforms.
  • 5+ years working with middleware applications to facilitate automation.
  • 5+ years working with BI/Analytics platforms.
  • Required Salesforce Certifications (minimum 3 of the following): Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Salesforce Certified System Architect, Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II, Salesforce Certified Administrator
  • Additional Preferred Certifications: Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist, Salesforce Certified Integration Architecture Designer, Salesforce Certified Identity and Access Management Designer, Salesforce Certified Data Architecture and Management Designer, Certinia (formerly FinancialForce) Certification

Travel & Office Location

  • Approximately 10% out-of-town travel to regional offices and/or data centers
  • Work remotely or at the regional office when not traveling
