As the IT & Digital Systems Integration Specialist, you will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our digital platforms—including CRM systems, analytics tools, new platform deployments, and cybersecurity protocols.

This is not a passive support role. You will be expected to drive integration projects, make technical decisions, and collaborate directly with business, science, and operational teams. You’ll be empowered to experiment, recommend tools, implement automation, and shape how we use technology to accelerate drug discovery.

If you're a self-starter with strong technical foundations, a problem-solving mindset, and a desire to make a visible impact in biotech, this is your opportunity to build and lead from the ground up.

 Key Responsibility

1. New Platform and System Development / Implementation

  • Lead the full lifecycle (requirements, vendor evaluation, implementation, UAT, deployment, change management) of new IT platforms and systems, including project management tools, data repositories, and workflow automation systems.
  • Collaborate with scientific and operational teams to assess internal needs and translate them into functional, scalable digital solutions.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and recommend systems that enhance Biocytogen's operational excellence and client service capabilities.

2. IT Platform Integration

  • Architect and oversee the integration of key platforms (LIMS, ERP, CRM, CMS, Client Portal, financial systems) across business units.
  • Design and manage secure, real-time data flows between internal systems and external collaborators or clients.
  • Partner with vendors and software teams to optimize API connectivity and middleware layers.

3. CRM Management & Data Analytics Support

  • Maintain, customize, and scale the company’s CRM (e.g., Netsuite, HubSpot), aligning it with business development and project tracking workflows.
  • Integrate CRM with marketing automation and business intelligence tools.
  • Enable strategic decision-making through reports, dashboards, and data cleaning/normalization pipelines.

4. AI & Automation Integration

  • Identify opportunities to integrate AI/ML capabilities in data processing, client interaction, and R&D workflows.
  • Partner with internal science teams to build AI-driven solutions for operational efficiency and predictive analytics.
  • Evaluate and manage AI vendors, ensuring scientific and regulatory fit.

5. Cybersecurity & IT Support

  • Lead Biocytogen’s cybersecurity strategy, including vulnerability management, access control, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA if applicable).
  • Provide hands-on support or oversight for IT troubleshooting, hardware/software issues, and endpoint management.
  • Develop IT SOPs and training materials to standardize support across teams.

Requirements
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related technical field.
  • Professional Experience: Hands-on experience in IT systems integration, digital platform development, or technology leadership—preferably within a biotech, CRO, or other regulated life sciences environment. Proven track record in rolling out enterprise systems such as CRMs, LIMS, scientific data platforms, or cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Strong understanding of software architecture, integration frameworks, and API design.
    • Proficient in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana), and BI/reporting systems (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
    • Familiar with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and core cybersecurity principles for enterprise environments.
    • Experience or exposure to AI/ML tools or frameworks is a strong advantage.
  • Proficient in Mandarin.
