We are modernizing our platforms and technologies to deliver secure, efficient, and scalable solutions for our customers and business partners. We are looking for an IT Business Analyst who enjoys collaborating across teams to understand business needs, translate them into clear technical requirements, and support the delivery of high-quality solutions within an agile environment. You will work closely with product owners, engineers, and other partners to help design solutions, assess system impacts, and support end-to-end delivery. You will be part of a collaborative and supportive agile team that values shared ownership, continuous improvement, and learning.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to understand objectives, clarify requirements, and define problems to be solved.
  • Analyze data and clearly communicate insights through documentation, reports, and dashboards to support decision-making.
  • Review existing system architectures and contribute to source-to-target mappings and data or information model specifications.
  • Facilitate meetings and working sessions to review documentation, align on requirements, and assess impacts across systems.
  • Create high-level solution designs that inform technical user stories, delivery estimates, and implementation approaches.
  • Break down designs into clear technical user stories and related documentation to guide development and testing.
  • Coordinate and organize delivery activities to support incremental and iterative releases.
  • Prioritize and manage work across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Support functional testing efforts by identifying, tracking, and retesting defects.
  • Collaborate with team members to analyze issues, identify root causes, and contribute to sustainable solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve system effectiveness and enhance agile delivery practices.
  • Build and maintain clear, organized system and process documentation.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience as an IT BA, Business Systems Analyst, Technical Analyst or Data Analyst.
  • A conceptual understanding of microservices-based architectures.
  • Experience working with Azure cloud services.
  • Ability to distinguish between business needs and preferences, balancing value, risk, cost, and delivery considerations.
  • Strong planning, organization, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • In this role, you will help guide the implementation of enhancements to microservices that support insurance underwriting capabilities.
  • Your work will directly contribute to improving system reliability, efficiency, and the overall experience for internal users and partners.

When you join our team:

  • We’ll empower you to learn and grow the career you want.
  • We’ll recognize and support you in a flexible environment where well-being and inclusion are more than just words.
  • As part of our distributed team, we’ll support you in shaping the future you want to see.

The role being advertised is an existing vacancy.
