Job Description

The IT Business Analyst Consultant II for Legal Operations serves as a strategic partner to Legal, Compliance, and cross functional business units, enabling technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency, data-driven decision-making, and overall legal service delivery. This role blends deep business analysis expertise with an understanding of legal department processes, legal technology platforms, and enterprise systems.
The analyst is responsible for gathering and translating business requirements, leading technology implementations and enhancements, driving process optimization, and ensuring solutions align with organizational governance, security, and strategic objectives.

Core Skills:

  • Problem-solving mindset—ability to analyze business challenges and develop automated technology solutions.
  • Technical aptitude—experience with SharePoint, Excel (advanced functions), Power Automate, SQL, or other business intelligence tools is a plus.
  • Self-starter—someone who takes initiative, collaborates effectively, and drives projects forward.
  • Strong communication skills—ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

IT Business Analyst II Responsibilities:

As an IT Business Analyst II, you’ll play a key role in supporting legal technology initiatives and driving process improvements. You’ll:

  • Gather and document business and operational requirements for technology solutions within the legal department.
  • Identify and implement automation business solutions using SharePoint, Power Automate, and Power Apps other business process tools.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to assess technology needs and enhance systems like TeamConnect.
  • Analyze and optimize existing legal processes through data-driven insights.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure successful implementation of technology solutions.
Experience

• 2 or more years of experience.

Compensation

Base compensation offered for this role is $65,600.00 - $85,000.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
*** Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e., commission, bonus, etc.) as applicable for the role.
