Job Description: 

The Network and Edge group (NEX) at Intel delivers the Infrastructure Processing Unit (IPU) which is shaping data center designs for the next decade. Join us to plan, develop and sell infrastructure acceleration solutions using Infrastructure Processing Units (IPU) in the Cloud, Telco and Enterprise market segments.

As an experienced IPU Software Product Manager in the Network and Edge group you will:

  • Own the IPU solutions roadmap where you define and prioritize those solutions based on customer use cases and business opportunity.

  • Define platform enablement requirements to validate IPU solutions

  • Lead business value proposition for open-source software strategy

  • Drive customer facing collateral explaining the value prop and implementation guidelines for the solutions

The experienced IPU Software Product Manager should possess the behavioral attributes below:

  • Strong stakeholder management with experience influencing individuals, organizations, technologies, and industry.

  • Mix of creativity and analytical business skills with a demonstrated skills to get results with excellent presentation skills

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are essential to engage with customers of all knowledge levels (novice thru expert).

  • Success in leading complex, cross-organization teams to deliver business results.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
What we need to see (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, computer engineering or computer science or related field demonstrating technical acumen

  • 5 plus years articulating software value propositions and defining the market opportunity for that software

  • 5 plus years in software product definition and leading software product planning teams; Examples include Hyper Converged Infrastructure (e.g. MSFT Azure Stack HCI), Network Services (e.g. VMWare ESXi / NSX), Network Orchestration, Telemetry, SDN, RDMA RoCEv2 etc.), containers (eg Kubernetes), OS enablement (eg – RedHat, Windows)

  • 6 plus years with data center level networking architecture, protocols, topologies and networking products; implementation experience with massively scaled application workloads

How to Stand out (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Master of Business Administration ​or equivalent experience demonstrating business acumen.

  • Strong business acumen about Ethernet technologies, customers, product portfolio management, technology trends and market needs.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:

$183,040.00-$258,410.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. * Job posting details (such as work model, location or time type) are subject to change.
