Bain Capital’s Investor Relations team is seeking a Product Support Manager to support the Global Private Equity Group in our Boston office.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Support strategic planning initiatives in close collaboration with product leadership, investment diligence teams, and deal team leads across Bain Capital’s global private equity platform, shaping product narratives and fund strategy positioning.
  • Perform advanced financial and market analytics to support product messaging, including Excel-based datacuts, fund-level performance scenarios, and sensitivity analyses tailored to specific LP requests or market conditions.
  • Help drive the end-to-end development and maintenance of marketing collateral, including pitchbooks, investor reporting, fund profiles, and annual meeting content—ensuring materials are tailored to institutional audiences, reflect a consistent and differentiated message, and support fundraising goals.
  • Translate complex investment strategies and fund updates into clear, impactful communications for both internal stakeholders and external limited partners, adapting messaging based on audience sophistication and strategic objectives.
  • Partner with the global distribution sales team to support product positioning and client engagement, including delivery of customized data analyses and strategic narratives aligned with current fundraising campaigns.
  • Facilitate cross-regional engagement with private equity deal teams in Europe, Asia, and North America to synthesize portfolio company updates, integrate insights into broader fund strategy communications, and support critical investment strategy decisions.
  • Coordinate high-quality investment commentaries and thematic content covering fund positioning, macro and micro performance trends, market dynamics, and competitive differentiation.
  • Design and execute competitor benchmarking frameworks to inform product strategy, track peer positioning, and support internal investment committee and sales enablement initiatives.
  • Serve as a primary resource for complex, ad hoc LP and prospect inquiries, managing diligence processes, preparing technical responses, and partnering with legal, finance, and investment teams to deliver coordinated and timely replies.
  • Assist with planning and content development for investor meetings and annual meetings, including structuring presentation narratives, synthesizing investment themes, and producing materials that align with broader content strategy and LP expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Strong academic credentials (BS/BA from highly regarded institution) and a demonstrated track record of successful work experience
  • 7 – 12+ years’ experience with an investment management firm, investment consultant, investment bank, or private equity firm
  • Experience with private equity funds including private equity diligence and analytics
  • Self-starter with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong organizational skills and relationship-building and ability to work collaboratively in team environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative PowerPoint skills and ability to understand financial statements and performance
  • Strong excel and analytical capabilities
  • Ability to establish priorities, managing multiple tasks and meeting time-sensitive deadlines
  • Series 7 and 63; if not currently licensed, successful hire must complete tests in the first 90 days of employment
