We have an exciting opportunity for an Investor Relations Capital Formation, Senior Associate in our Boston office. This individual will be reporting to the Director of Capital Formation within Cabot's Investor Relations team. They will work closely with global institutional investors and consultants and interdepartmentally at Cabot on a variety of projects. This person will be a highly resourceful team player, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible, proactive, and efficient. They will be able to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, possess excellent written and verbal communication capabilities, display strong organizational skills, foster collaboration, and know how to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. The person in this position must maintain the highest level of confidentiality and diplomacy regarding all Cabot Properties, L.P. and Cabot Properties, Inc. information.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support all aspects of marketing Cabot funds from concept and private placement memorandums to "roadshow" presentations and due diligence requests.
- Maintain regional investor coverage and develop an expertise in these regions through CRM prospecting, research, travel and relationship building.
- Support new business development initiatives including international expansion, co-investment, recapitalizations and joint venture opportunities.
- Assist in writing and editing quarterly letters and other investor material on macro-economic trends, the industrial property sector and Fund performance.
- Develop slide decks for LP calls and meetings by working closely with the research, investment, asset management, finance and accounting teams.
- Support other communication efforts including but not limited to press releases, website content and social media.
- Review financial statements and internal databases to complete investor diligence requests.
- All other tasks as directed
Qualifications and Experience:
- Undergraduate degree from a top university, MBA degree desirable but not required.
- 3-7 years of experience, preferably with strong real estate understanding, consulting, investment banking or marketing firm.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong Power Point and graphic design skills, InDesign a plus
- High level proof-reading and editing capabilities required
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills coupled with Excel experience
- Ability to work in a fast -paced environment while handling multiple projects
- Highly motivated with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Personal and professional integrity of the highest order
- Proficiency in German, Dutch, Japanese or Spanish a plus.

- The job is conducted in an office work environment, sitting most of the time
- Approximately 90% of this position’s duties require use of a computer
- Travel related to investor meetings and conferences
