This position will be a hybrid work arrangement. You will receive 18 remote workdays per quarter to use at your discretion, subject to manager approval. For example, you may choose to work in the office 4 days per week and take one remote day weekly (typically 13 weeks per quarter), leaving 5 additional remote days to be used as needed.

Join our dynamic team as an Investor Relations Assistant at HarbourVest Partners! In this role you will support our Global Investor Relations team by coordinating international client events and providing comprehensive administrative support. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams and manage complex scheduling and logistics.

The ideal candidate is someone who is:

What you will do:
  • Partner with internal teams, including Investor Relations, Investment Teams, Office Services, Marketing, and Client Services, across global offices
  • Schedule and coordinate on-site meetings based on client agendas and team availability
  • Manage multiple calendars and coordinate meeting logistics with individual participants
  • Liaise with Investor Relations teams in other offices to ensure consistent meeting formats and execution
  • Coordinate internal logistics, such as booking conference rooms, placing catering orders, registering visitors, and ensuring technology and printed materials are prepared
  • Provide on-site support during meetings to ensure a seamless experience
  • And other responsibilities as required
What you bring:
  • Outstanding coordination abilities to effectively handle and rank various tasks at once
  • Effective collaboration abilities across global teams with excellent communication skills
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and deadline management
  • Proficient in coordinating meeting arrangements and delivering on-site assistance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous background in an administrative or coordination position is preferred
  • Knowledge of investor relations or financial services is a plus
  • Prefer candidates with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Education Preferred:
  • Bachelor of Arts (B.A) or comparable background
  • Bachelor of Science (B.S) or relevant experience
Experience:
  • Preferred: 3-5 years of experience in an administrative or coordination role, preferably at the Analyst level.
