Position Summary: 

Audax Private Equity is seeking an Investor Relations Analyst to join its high-performing Investor Relations team. The firm’s Investor Relations function plays a critical role, serving as a key point of contact for Limited Partners while partnering closely with senior leadership and internal teams across the organization.

Based in Boston, the Investor Relations Analyst will support our LP-facing initiatives, including client service, reporting, data management, and cross-functional coordination. This is a fast-paced role that requires exceptional organization, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once.  Successful candidates are proactive, resourceful, and team-oriented, with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.

The Investor Relations Analyst role provides a meaningful opportunity to contribute to the firm’s investor engagement efforts by supporting a global limited partner base, collaborating with senior leadership, and assisting with key client service, reporting, and operational activities.

Responsibilities:

Investor Support & Communications

  • Manage incoming inquiries from existing investors and investment consultants, coordinate timely and accurate responses across internal teams.
  • Oversee the preparation and delivery of investor materials, including ad hoc requests, DDQs, investment summaries, tax documents, capital call and distribution notices and standard communications.
  • Support team’s effort for semi-annual advisory board and annual limited partner meeting sessions.
  • Anticipate the team’s needs and proactively identify solutions to streamline workflow.
  • Provide back-up coverage for Investor Relations support staff as needed.

Data Management, Onboarding & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Maintain working knowledge of Audax’ customer relationship management system (“CRM”) and investor portal to support ad hoc data requests.
  • Create and maintain accurate investor records, including contact details, wiring instructions, and advisor information.  
  • Assist with onboarding and quarterly transfer processes in collaboration with internal and external legal teams, ensuring organized and complete documentation.
  • Over time, collaborate with PE Analytics, Finance, and Business Solutions teams to develop analyses, enhance processes, and drive operational improvements. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years of previous professional experience, preferably in finance or investor relations.
  • Strong organizational skills, extremely detail oriented.
  • Self-starter with the willingness to learn.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in an environment of tight deadlines and high-quality standards.
  • MUST be team oriented and able to operate autonomously and collaboratively across the organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a professional, proactive attitude.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Knowledge of private equity, CRM databases (Dynamo, Salesforce) or alternative investment databases (Preqin, eVestment), is a plus.

Location: Boston, MA Hybrid

The base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000. The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation may vary and will be determined based on but not limited to, the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and Audax reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. An employee may also be eligible for annual discretionary incentive compensation based on performance.
