About the role
The Investor Operations Associate will partner closely with internal teams - including Servicing, Legal, Product, and Engineering - to execute daily and monthly investor operations and continuously improve the processes that support them. You’ll play a key role in ongoing investor workflows once an investor is live on the Point platform.
The Investor Operations associate will serve as Point's primary liaison between existing investors and will support the end-to-end process of selling Point-originated assets to investors. These tasks include allocating assets across investors, fund tracking, monthly or weekly reporting, investor due diligence, and default workflow management.
This role will assist in onboarding new investors and expanding existing relationships by coordinating diligence efforts, leading cross-functional workstreams, and refining internal processes to scale investor operations as the business grows. This will enable you to gain exposure to a wide range of domains and teams within Point, and we are looking for you to build strong working relationships across the organization.

Your responsibilities
- Partner with Servicing, Legal, Product, and Engineering to execute day-to-day investor operations and support smooth ongoing workflows for live investors.
- Serve as Point’s primary liaison to existing investors, managing communication, coordination, and follow-through on investor needs.
- Support the end-to-end process of selling Point-originated assets to investors, including coordinating key operational steps and stakeholder inputs.
- Maintain and improve recurring investor operational workflows (including monthly reporting) to ensure accuracy, consistency, and scalability.
- Help grow and strengthen investor relationships by providing responsive operational support and maintaining high service standards.
- Participate in cross-functional workstreams to resolve issues, drive process improvements, and reduce operational friction.
About you
- 2+ years of investment banking, investor reporting, private equity, mortgage-backed securities, or similar investor-related experience.
- Expert proficiency in Excel, SQL preferred
- You have a strong drive to build, own, and improve what you are doing without being told
- You have strong data organization skills
- Default towards data-driven decision making, backed by analysis
- Tracking investor performance across multiple portfolios excites you
- Strong desire to provide a positive experience to investors while keeping the customer front of mind

Compensation at Point will be determined by skills, experience, and geographic location. Point has identified the expected annual base salary for this role at this level based on the market by tiers (Region | Location | Market Salary):
- Tier 1 | San Francisco Bay Area, New York, and Seattle | $118,750 - $131,250
- Tier 2 | Chicago, Austin, Denver, Boston, Washington DC, San Diego, Portland, Sacramento, Philadelphia, Los Angeles & Santa Barbara | $107,350 - $118,650
- Tier 3 | All other US metro areas | $95,000 - $105,000
This does not include any other potential components of the compensation package, including equity, benefits, and perks outlined above. At the launch of each position, we benchmark compensation to the appropriate role and level utilizing competitive compensation data from various data sources as references. At the offer stage, we use the signal we received from our interviews, coupled with your experience, location, and other job-related factors, to determine final compensation.
