Internships projects vary depending on the needs of both the student and the business.

Haemonetics interns are assigned to a meaningful project within the company to acquire a variety of experiences, try different skills, and learn what a future career might offer while also contributing to our innovation agenda by completing business-critical projects and assignments.

    What You Will Do

    The primary focus of this internship will be supporting the evaluation and enhancement of the Rewards and Recognition (R&R) program, while also contributing to additional HR initiatives to gain a comprehensive understanding of the Total Rewards and HR Operations framework.

    Rewards and Recognition (R&R):

    • Conduct an after-action review of the R&R program, analyzing implementation and utilization data to identify areas for improvement and guide future enhancements.
    • Collaborate on the next phases of the R&R rollout, including campaign planning, administration, training, communication, employee engagement activities and integrating wellness components.

    Broader Exposure to Total Rewards HR Operations:

    • Support compensation projects, including preparation for global pay transparency, market benchmarking, job catalog consolidation, and data analysis.
    • Partner with HR Service Delivery (HRSD) and Compensation teams to optimize the job description project.

    Systems & Tools:

    • Learn and utilize internal systems such as Workday and ServiceNow to streamline HR processes and enhance data management.

    Education/Skills Required

    • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
    • Strong analytical skills with a focus on interpreting and presenting data effectively.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with HR systems such as Workday is a plus.
    • Flexibility and adaptability to work on diverse projects and meet changing priorities.
    • Curiosity and a willingness to learn about various aspects of HR and Total Rewards.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • A proactive mindset and a passion for contributing to HR projects that drive employee engagement and operational excellence.
