Job Description
As an analyst you will gain critical skills in financial analysis, risk assessment, due diligence, and deal structuring. Our analysts function as fully integrated deal team members, supporting senior originators within Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries (MMBSI). MMBSI provides credit, cash management, capital markets and corporate finance advisory solutions to corporations, municipalities and not-for-profit entities via our Core Banking and Specialized Industries teams.
Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and driving detailed financial modeling and financial statement analysis
  • Determining cash flow and debt capacity based on a wide range of business models
  • Driving the preparation of capital markets, credit approval packages, and marketing materials
  • Primary responsibility of reviewing all work prepared by analysts
  • Significant interaction with clients and investors


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of related experience in investment banking or commercial banking in a Banker or Underwriting role
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large amounts of information and help develop innovative client solutions
  • Knowledge of Commercial Banking, credit and debt capital markets products
  • Strong credit acumen and knowledge
  • Develop capability to run less complex transactions with minimal oversight
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Well organized and able to efficiently manage projects with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and meet time sensitive deadlines
  • Excellent presentation skills; comfortable presenting to client senior management, investors and senior members of the firm
  • Bachelor's degree required
