The Work You'll Do:

As an Internal Communications Specialist, you'll work across Sovos' Corporate Marketing team, the Office of the CEO, and our Executive Leadership Team to create and distribute engaging content that informs and connects employees across the organization. Working cross-functionally, you'll play a vital role in sharing company stories, coordinating communications, and helping our teams work better together.

This position is ideal for an early-career marketing and communications professional seeking broad exposure to all forms of communications, content, and social media marketing. You're detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about employee engagement through clear, compelling storytelling.

More specifically, you will:

  • Write, edit, and distribute the company's bi-weekly employee newsletter, ensuring timely delivery and engaging content
  • Create internal news posts and announcements to keep employees informed of company updates
  • Develop employee-focused content across multiple formats, including short-form updates, visual stories, presentations, and executive messages
  • Coordinate all company meetings, including logistics, communications, and follow-up materials
  • Support preparation of internal presentations and talking points for leadership communications
  • Manage meeting calendars and ensure smooth execution of company-wide events
  • Partner with Sovos teams around the world to execute internal communication plans
  • Gather and curate employee stories that highlight our markets, customers, and mission
  • Adapt and track external marketing materials and announcements for internal audiences
  • Maintain and distribute content through various internal communication channels
  • Monitor engagement and recommend improvements to communication approaches
  • Ensure consistency of messaging across all internal platforms

What We Need From You

  • 1-2 years of experience in communications, marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail and brand voice
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort working with various levels of leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Instinct for choosing the right message and channel for different audiences
  • Growth mindset with openness to feedback and continuous improvement
  • Proficiency with communication platforms, email systems, and basic design tools
  • Ability to interact effectively with teammates and colleagues across the organization
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check and drug test upon hire
